8 tips for a perfect morning routine this winter!

Winter mornings are never easy to wake up. Especially if you are not an early bird. Yet, in order to stay healthy, wealthy and wise, you got to have the perfect morning routine.Giving an hour to yourself every morning, can prove to be a real good start to the day. And for that, we have got you 8 essential tips that might take away the body's laziness, and your bed's coziness too. Read on.

Rise early - The body is in a proactive mode when you wake up early. Rise along with the Sun. The healthiest habit you'll ever adopt would be to leave your bed early. It's early in the morning when we are at peace, when there are no distractions or hazzle around, when we are closest to the nature and that's when we are able to focus the most. It can be more fruitful, if you avoid the phone. Checking phone after waking up is an unnecessary task, rather a big distraction. Therefore, make sure you are up early and away drom any gadget for a while.

Take a drink - After you wake up, your body needs quick hydration. So, before starting out anything else drink something. For this, a glass or two of warm water is just all you need. Apart from water intake, you can also take a shot of ginger water, with a pinch of turmeric to it. Taking Ginger and Garlic will boost you immune system as these have antimicrobial and anti - inflamatory properties which help you stay healthy in winters. Turmeric also helps in detoxification. You might take warm water with lemon instead as per your mood.

Exercise -  It's so important to stay fit and healthy during the winter season. For that, a daily exercise regime helps, not only for the body but the heart as well. You can either hit the gym or sweat it out at home as you wish. Squats, pillates and stretches, plan any kind of workout that seems more appealing to you. A warmup or exercise can be followed by a quick walk or a jog can do the best for your body.

Meditate - If you are up early, this means you are at the perfect time to meditate, concentrate and practice mindfulness. After stretching out the body, it is time for the mind. People have their own different ways for this - some might do deep breathing (Anulom Vilom in Yoga), else start with a spiritual day by a rosary in hand and the Almighty's name in mind. While someone else would simply sit and reflect the inner conscience. It's just a practice that gives peace to your mind.

The sunlight exposure - Sun will give you the energy, warmth and motivation to begin your day. If you are up early, and the sun hasn't shone up due to the cold, make sure you take your required amount of Sunlight rest of the day. The must needed portion of Vitamin D is essential for the body.

Read or Journal - It is highly recommended to read or write something early in the morning. Make sure you take the daily motivation early in the day by reading something positive, this maybe a quote, a paragraph or a poem. And journaling will help you pour your thoughts out. Whatever you feel like as you begin the day, write it down. You can even schedule your day properly in the diary.

A nurient rich breakfast - An energizing breakfast is very beneficial for the body. Our body is working whole day, a protein rich, healthy carb breakfast will ensure you have already built for the day. Cereals, eggs, seasonal fruits, and sprouts along with milk will fill up the tummy to give an energized start to the day.

A warm shower - Take a quick shower with warm water. This will relieve you from the tiredness and switch you up for the day. After theshower, you can apply cotton or almond oil on the skin. This will give you the necessary moisture.

A well planned day with a healthy morning routine is must in winters. Because when you start well, the day goes well. The whole day is already up for a hurry, then mornings can be a bit slow...just so that you are a little closer to your own self.
